Music Class

Parents had the opportunity to watch the kindergarten music class, taught by Mrs. Horn. Lots of singing, dancing, and enthusiasm -- it's one of Nathan's favorite classes!

Visit from Aunt Susan & cousins

We were thrilled to have Susan, Owen, Elizabeth and Sam in our home for a few days in January. In addition to showing them around Athens, we spent an afternoon at the ice rink.

January 2, 2008

Nathan started the year by losing his first tooth. The second one came out a few weeks later. No blood, no tears -- a very proud moment for Nathan.

"Magnificent!"

I got a call from Nathan’s teacher today asking me to come by the school a pick up Nathan’s art project. Ms. Berry explained that it was too valuable to send home on the bus. She told me it was “magnificent” and said that Nathan had really out done himself.

Sure enough, his creation was incredible! A beautiful and very detailed gingerbread house. I am so proud of my artist/chief son!
